Volunteer prayer is better at home than in mosques, except when the congregation commenced such as Taraweeh in Ramadaan. The Prophet said, “The best prayer in one's home is the written prayer.” (Narrated by al-Bukhaari).
Types of volunteer prayer

Volunteer prayer has many types, the most important of which are the following:
First: Sunan salaries [salaries: collecting a salary, which is the constant constant thing]

It is Sunnah of the obligatory, and it is a certain year

The Sunnah salaries are ten rak'ahs or twelve rak'ahs:

- Two rak'ahs before dawn.

- Two rak'ahs before noon or four, and two rak'ahs after.

- Two rak'ahs after Morocco.

- Two rak'ahs after dinner. It was narrated that Ibn 'Umar, may Allah be pleased with them, he said: «I memorized from the Prophet ten rak'ahs: two rak'ahs before noon, and two after, and the two rak'ahs after Maghrib in his house, and two rak'ahs after dinner at his house, and two rak'ahs before Fajr prayer» (Agreed) and proved him Aisha - May Allah be pleased with it - but it was mentioned before noon four (Narrated by Muslim).
